Religious

Religion is founded on the concept of good versus evil; right from wrong. Each of us carry within ourselves positive and negative attributes, however, neither exists within a person absolutely. Each piece in this series contains elements of both “good” and “evil” – they include wings and horns. These pieces question the rigid concepts expounded by religious sects. These concepts are cast in either “black” and “white” and ignore the possibility of shades of grey. As self-determining beings, should we not have the ability to choose how to live our lives without being type-casted, judged or ostracized?
